THE PARNERSHIP WITH B4 INVESTIMENTI

The agreement between B4 Investimenti and Hitrac Engineering Group was finalised in April 2021. A strategic partnership between the asset management company specialising in private equity and the Italian leader in high-tech systems for critical infrastructure, which aims to double Hitrac's turnover in three years, consolidate its market position in Italy and increase internationalisation in strategic countries.

Hitrac operates in a strategic sector, that of critical infrastructure, which is closely linked to the country's digital evolution, security and ESG issues. In particular, the data centre segment, which represents the Group's focus, has significant growth prospects, especially at international level.

At the basis of the partnership agreement is a strategic plan that envisages the strengthening and expansion of the Hitrac team, as well as major investments in the company's technological and commercial development. The aim is to double the size of the Group in three years, an ambitious objective that must be supported by a management model that is appropriate to the growing complexity of the Company.

In Italy, the market opportunities available are worth over two billion euros with important developments, particularly in the data centre segment. In fact, the increased demand for cutting-edge technological infrastructures, together with the funds allocated to the country's digitalisation process and ecological transition, makes it a favourable time for investments in this sector.
